Hello, everyone.

I hope you all had a nice holiday and happy new year.   I also want to thank you for the many birthday wishes (here and social media) and the gift arts I got.  

As you have noticed, I haven't drawn anything since December.   I still have my urge to draw, but to find the actual motivation has been a struggle.   When I do get it again, I'll feel out of practice... There might be some random pics when that happens so I can get back into habit.  I don't like finishing commissions when I feel my art isn't good at the time.   So those who commissioned me, I have not forgotten.

When it comes to a new year, nothing has changed much for me yet (if it ever even happens).   Bills are hard to keep up with more than ever at the moment.   I might have to take on more commissions if things continue rough.  Trying not to get overwhelmed with so many like I had previously and take breaks between so I don't get extremely burnt out or panic.  Yet...at the same time, I don't want to make others wait for an extremely long amount of time or I feel horrible!   We'll see how the rest of this month goes before I decide if I seriously need to take on more commissions.

Some are probably wondering what I have been doing in the meantime when struggling to act on my drawing urges.   It's pretty simple, though.  I've been playing The Sims 4 (just to pass time more than an actual 'kick') or watching streams to get that needed motivation.   Today...probably try even harder to figure out how to get the motivation to surface.   I'm getting bored with The Sims 4 again and likely won't play that for some time.  I tend to take very long breaks from playing the game when that happens. 

Therefore, I REALLY hope I get back into the drawing habit so I can make more pretty artsies for myself and others.   I don't want to be like, "this will happen most definitely soon" and then end up staring blankly at my paper, pencil, and pen.   That would make me even more stressed.   It might be silly to some, but I get easily frustrated if I can't do a picture a day.  Makes me want to yank my hair out cause of it.

All in all, my holidays were so-so and I wish everyone a happy 2017.   I hope to get more posted again this year.
